Open Journal Systems is compatible with the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) systems, which guarantee the journal a permanent and secure archive.

Deposits are also made in the BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine): an international multidisciplinary repository of the Bielfeld University Library, Germany.

BACKUP

In conjunction with the processes indicated, specific actions are carried out through automated processes at the server level (CRON), and storage policies, for specific preservation and archiving purposes, and guaranteeing the eventual reconstruction of the entire collection of the journal and preservation of each published digital content regardless of the format.
