Lipoblastoma: An unusual cause of foot lump in children

Abstract

Bone and soft tissue tumours of the feet are uncommon. Lipoblastoma is arare benign soft tissue neoplasm, exclusive to the pediatric population. Occurrs more frequently in children with a predilection for males. Its preferred location is at the extremities, but rarely affects the foot. We present a case of lipoblastoma in the foot of a 13-month-old boy and we conducted a review of the literature.
