Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public fosters a greater global exchange of knowledge. It also does not entail any cost for authors for publication rights or similar concepts.

CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0 allows sharing, copying, distributing, altering, transforming, generating a derivative work, performing and publicly communicating the work, provided that:
a) the authorship and the original source of its publication (journal, publisher and URL of the work) are cited;
b) the same terms of the license are maintained. The assignment of circulation rights of the authors grants the editors authorization for the work to be deposited in the Journal of the Argentine Association of Orthopedics and Traumatology and disseminated through the databases that the editor considers appropriate for indexing and social networks with a view to increasing the visibility of the publication and its authors.

Terms of access and use

For readers: the Journal of the Argentine Association of Orthopedics and Traumatology is a free, open and free access journal, that is, all content is available to the user without any charge. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full text of its articles as long as they include the citation of the publication, or use them for any legitimate purpose, without requesting permission from the journal or the author.

For authors: authors are allowed and recommended to disseminate their work through the Internet (e.g.: on social networks, on their website) which can produce interesting exchanges and increase citations of the published work. Acceptance of the article by the journal implies that it will not be submitted simultaneously to other journals or editorial bodies. The Journal of the Argentine Association of Orthopedics and Traumatology declines any responsibility for possible conflicts arising from the authorship of the works published in it.

Copyright

All material published in the RAAOT will be assigned to the Argentine Association of Orthopedics and Traumatology. In accordance with Copyright Law No. 11,723, the corresponding author of each manuscript will be asked to complete a copyright transfer form when uploading the manuscript to the RAAOT website.
